Kundalini Activation

6 months ago, I embarked on a journey as a holder of the Kundalini Dance keys. I live in San Francisco, and even in Fog City it feels to me like the world is on fire! I am sure you are feeling the pressure to make things happen. That intensity, the rush, things just don’t want to go your way and nothing can be planned anymore.

It is time to surrender!  To give up!  You’ve lost control and you can’t do a thing about it!  Yeay!  It is time to celebrate! Your guides, ancestors, and angels have already begun this celebration.  And right now they are finding it very funny that you are holding on so hard. You don’t have to try so hard.

That tension that you are feeling in your body is the build up and accumulation of all your “old shit” that is surfacing, that stuff that you just haven’t really let go of yet. All of that negativity, sadness, fear, doubt, anger and rage, is building up and bubbling over. In order to be ready for this “awakening” I am talking about, you have to be ready to let go of it.  Why do you want it in the first place if all it is doing is keeping you in the dark? How is it serving you?

Energetically we store all of our old memories whether they are good or bad, they give us a roadmap of how to experience life. Then we attach a feeling to this memory. Feelings are like messages to your brain, they tell your brain how to react to a certain situation.  The build up and accumulation of the debris that you don’t want to let go of And they deposit that build up in your physical and energetic bodies.  They show up as pain!  Physical Pain, Emotional Pain, Mental Pain. Why do we put ourselves through so much pain?

Do you realize that you can accomplish anything right now?  Anything that you want in your life is being handed to you on a silver platter.  But the real question is…can you receive it? Can you say YES to what you want?

There is a way, a map, to get through all of this.  But you have to take the time for yourself. Make it about you.  Only you have the power to make the changes that you need in order to make all of your dreams come true.  And, only you can hold yourself back.

We all self sabotage. There is some sick part of ourselves who wants to keep us in the dream.  Who wants to keep us asleep a

What do you tell yourself that creates the self sabotage?  That keeps you from stepping through the veils of illusion? What creates resistance in you? Is it the money or lack of? Or the time? Maybe you don’t believe you can be better? Can you feel into that?  Can you be honest with yourself and give yourself a clue as to why you allow yourself to live in the darkness?

I am writing this letter, it is personally to you, the person who is reading it now.  YOU. I want to tell you not to give up.  That fear you are feeling, that resistance, it is not real.  It is not you.  You are here for a reason and it is time to seize your moment.  To say YES!

You might be wondering about how you are going to do this.  And I am not going to give you that answer yet.  But I do know it.  It is important for you to see that you are special.  And your life is about to change dramatically if you let it. It might be a long path, with many twists and turns, but it will lead you to the BIG PARTY that you have been personally invited to.

This is definitely a commitment and we are calling in women who know the value of this training and are willing to be available for all of the meeting dates.  It is a cumulative initiatory experience. We meet 2 times per month, one Monday evening and one weekend (day or full weekend) per month.

You may miss one Monday, and one day-long, but if you need to miss more, you might not want to do this group. This is a contained group, and events are for committed initiates only.

A Little History Of My Own Journey As A Priestess:

The Medicine Wheel Priestesses

My first experience in a priestess circle was in January of 2009. At a time when commitment seemed really hard for me, I knew I needed this.  I felt this deep calling to be part of this training. I had only met Mellissa by a chance meeting but there was just something about this woman that I had to hang out with her! Those 6 months were some of the most transformational experiences of my life. While surrounded by 8 women all deeply connecting and supporting me, I experienced and claimed my Shamanic self. In June of 2009, I was initiated as a HeartWisdom Medicine Wheel Priestess.  Once I stepped through that gateway I never looked back.

In 2010, in the tradition of the Heartwisdom Priestess, Trinity and I lead 8 women through the same training.  It was different because we were able to weave what we had learned with Mellissa and also whatever we were called to share with the women.  We had 8 amazing wonderful women who experienced some of the same deep transformation that both Trinity and I had in 2009. We called them the Shakti Priestesses.

“My experience in a women’s circle has had profound effects on my life. When I began I was stuck in an very unhealthy relationship. I was fearful, hurt, emotionally and physically drained. I felt lost and in a fog that I didn’t know how to get out of.

With intention I began my journey and with the help and support of my sisters and guides i began to hear my intuitive voice again.  I found strength and confidence as we bonded and went deeper into our practice. I used the tools and practices we were learning to break free of the negative patterns and attitudes that were holding me back and within two months I felt free and clear. In fact I felt better than I ever had before.

I moved through emotional baggage from all of my past relationships and with that letting go I opened myself up to the universe in light and love. I was feeling my body again, I was feeling mother earth below me, I was feeling a deep bond between myself and the women in our circle and with all that support I felt Shakti for the first time. The deep feminine energy came into my life and has been a source of healing ever since. In this energy I started a new relationship with myself and a healthy relationship with a new man.

At the end of 6 months I understood why we use the word ‘Priestess’. I felt the benefits of being in sacred space with other women and I discovered that I am walking not only ‘my path’ but the ‘divine path’ through these experiences. Everything I worked through helped me transform myself and find a deeper understanding of life and now I am ready to hold space for other women to do the same.”

So far this year has been pretty intense!  I don’t know about you but I have been feeling the stress and the pressure to make things happen!  For me it makes it hard to stay on a certain task.  Energetically I am really sensitive too.

This month at YoniSpeak with Mellissa Seaman I was reminded why I have been feeling like this!

The Earth changes that we have all been talking about are happening now!  There are layers of electromagnetic fields within in the Earth that are brand new.  Humans are an organ of the Earth so we are also shifting and we have a choice how we want to handle these changes.  We can hold them all in and try to resist and control them, or we can open and surrender to the flow of what is happening.

It was a Wake Up Call:

It just made me think about how I can apply this to my life.  I have definitely been feeling it. This sense of urgency yet stuck in fear.  Old fears and old triggers which old identities began to surface.  Ones I thought I had overcome but here they are again. As hard as it is, I look at this time in my life to really dive in and listen to my own personal call for awakening.  I ask myself what it is in my life that is holding me back?  Who am I?  What is my unique essence requesting of me?

In April until now, I received and have been integrating an initiation by Shakti MA, and the Kundalini Energy has been flowing through me.  I guess I didn’t understand what this really meant.  At first it was ecstatic, but as soon as I started to get lazy with my daily practice, she began to show me really ugly things about myself.  And I began to get lethargic and want to shut in and shut down.  Of course these were my own fears coming up. Fears about what am I doing here on this planet and why am I choosing this.  It would be so much easier to just give up and go get that corporate job that can secure me a paycheck every month!

It almost made me want to give my healing practice up. Now don’t freak out… because I would never do that!  I know better and I know that deep down this is the path that I am meant to walk on.  But all it comes down to was I was holding back in fear of taking my own personal growth steps. And so I made the choice that I am not going to hold back at all anymore.

I can’t be perfect and all of the challenges that I am having are totally normal right now.  Hell, I have been preaching about them to my clients and the people that come to the Sacred Wisdoms Workshops.  Why wouldn’t I be affected as well? This fear that I was trying to hold in was seriously affecting my practice.  Deep down I didn’t feel worthy of taking on clients while I was working through my own issues and so they stopped calling, and they cancelled their appointments.  We even had to cancel a whole workshop because down to the last minute we had almost everyone drop out the day before an event.

At first it was upsetting and frustrating. But, the beautiful thing about it was that it made me WAKE UP!

It made me look at where I was out of integrity in the areas of my life that directly reflected that of my client.  The world is our mirror and the people that we have any interactions with we can learn from.  And the reflection that I needed to see was that I was out of integrity with myself. I was rejecting myself! I wasn’t accepting myself and the choices that I had made.

So I have made the choice that I am stepping into my most authentic self.  For me that means going back to my daily practice of energetics, breath and movement. It means allowing my priestess to shine through in challenging moments with other people (like my family). And it means surrendering to this process or transformation. It is not easy, but it pays off in the long run.  And since I have made that choice, I am back in alignment.

And these are also the clients that I am choosing to work with.  Those that wish to make radical change in their lives.  Those that are ready to break through for good!  There is no time like that present moment to make things happen!  And I can help you. I love my work and I am going to power through this with the intention that you are by my side.

Sacred Wisdoms is a collaboration based on the passions of it’s founders Leah Rose Duke and Yarah Volkman. Through our own processes, they have found Kundalini Dance and Ecstatic Breathwork to be two very valuable tools one can use on the path transformation, which they have witnessed within ourselves and in others.  They have combined these practices and wish to share these potent Sacred Wisdoms with you.

Using the transformational therapies of Kundalini Dance and Ecstatic Breathwork; we come together in sacred ceremony to balance body, heart, and soul with essence.  For eons, both movement and breath have been deeply connected to reaching the ecstatic states of consciousness that can guide us in daily life to live and love from our evolved self.  Ecstasy is a natural state and your birthright!

We invite you to join us, as we embark on a journey into the inner sanctuary of our base chakra; the grounding force that connects us to the earth energies and empowers our being.  This is the most instinctual part of self; our inner child, who is programmed for personal safety and security.  We learned very early that survival is dependent on food, shelter, health, our tribe/family, and the primal need for reproduction.  The nature of this chakra is the drive to survive, which also encompasses any imbalances we feel the material world we live in.

Do you feel a sense of security or lack?  Do feel a sense of belonging or disconnection?  Do you feel safe or fearful? Do you feel like you have enough?

This is a New Year; what is your resolution?  Be proactive and make this your “New Beginning” with Kundalini Dance and Ecstatic Breathwork.

We are already co-creating our life, reality, and universe; it’s time to bring awareness and intention to what life we are choosing to create; right here, right now.  Let’s nurture, heal, and balance our inner foundations, so we may pass through these initiations (or spiritual lessons) of the base chakra and begin to master the material plane…living in trust to follow our authentic nature in a grounding way.  By bringing our base chakra into integrity we begin to share our unique gifts and passion in a practical way to manifest everything we need to prosper in our physical life.
